A few years back I always find myself thinking too much about what went wrong the previous year. I thought I already did things perfectly well but to certain extent, it can fail. Sometimes I just figure out my own judgement and create my own impression of describing what " FAILURE" really looked like to me. I must admit I have been ruminating past mistakes and consuming my energy to miseries and disappointments. I continue to feel hurt and pained at times but it does not hit me hard anymore like before. I feel pained but not broken.
Failures come from FEAR. Everyone has their own kind of fear. It is a feeling. At times can be helpful but somehow can dehydrate your energy too. I liked the idea that F.E.A.R means: False Evidence Appearing Real. Something that makes us worry, anxious but may not actually be there. Something that holds our whole body, delays our movement and causes us to isolate or shutdown. When you feel victimized, overly thinking , analyzing that causes paralysis of your thoughts, you will feel intense drama that we tend to seek deep attention, we ruminate the past and exhaust ourselves of the unknown. You will feel fogged, trapped, held captive when these episodes happen. It can turn you into a monster. Anger will come in after you experience the intense sense of worry, victimizing, overanalyzing, ruminating that means there is no other way but to release through anger.
Is there actually a way to overcome these? the answer is YES. Check these out and see if it helps you the way it has helped me too. 1st, BREATHE like DEEPLY! 2nd, Find a comfortable space and start to close your eyes and listen to a meditational or soothing music. 3rd, Focus on one word... GRATITUDE. Find something to be grateful for. 4th, open your eyes and try not to move at once. Create a self talk and make a decision to move your body ( Either do an exercise, walk, go for a stroll or eat something that you crave for ). When you find yourself doing small things to divert your feelings, it ease up the tension. 5th and Lastly, recant in your thoughts some powerful words or affirmative statements: " I am enough" " I am moving forward" " I am not a failure" I am going to find valuable choices"
Remember, YOU ARE MORE THAN ENOUGH. So when we fail in some things, make sure you consciously learn from it, grow in it and recreate solutions around it. You got this!
